Tom Ridout is a 23 year old saxophonist/recorder player and composer from London. “No Excuses” is his 13 piece ensemble with influences including jazz, folk, 60’s rock/pop and early 20th century tonal classical music. It includes some of the brightest young jazz musicians on the London jazz scene at the moment such as Alexandra Ridout winner of the BBC Young Jazz Musician of the year in 2017.
Tom Ridout was predicted by Jazzwise Magazine in 2012 as an upcoming jazz musician to watch out for. A recent graduate from the prestigious Royal Academy of Music, finalist in the BBC Young Musician Jazz Award 2016,Tom is a prolific composer who fronts his own bands playing his original compositions.
