The Snake Davis Band only play together three or four times a year for jazz gigs and when they do get together it really is something very, very special indeed. Snake Davis has recorded and performed live with more famous musical personages than you could shake a stick at, Ray Charles, Take That, Cher, Kylie Minogue, Paul McCartney, M People, Eurythmics, Lisa Stansfield and Edwin Starr to name but a few. Snake is joined on stage by his band - Paul Birchall, keys, composer and lifelong friend, Simon Goulding, bass player extraordinaire with an impressive biography as long as your arm and Ali Thynne on drums, a most talented drummer who has also come out of Leeds College of Music and the new kid on the block. All are consummate musicians and clearly enjoy performing together.
Support (8-8.30pm) is from the Ben Powling Quintet.
