Greg Abate is a US jazz saxophonist, flutist, composer and international jazz recording artist. In the mid 70’s after finishing a four year program at Berklee College Of Music, Greg played lead alto for the Ray Charles Orchestra and tenor sax with the revived Artie Shaw Orchestra under leadership of Dick Johnson in 1986 and ’87. Following this Greg ventured out as post hard bop soloist playing jazz festivals and clubs throughout North America and Europe.
He is accompanied by top Spanish jazz pianist via New York Victor Guttierez.
Victor Gutierrez is an arranger and award-winning composer. He graduated Summa Cum Laude graduate at Berklee College of Music (Boston-USA) and is currently on a scholarship studying for a Masters at the Royal Academy of Music. Victor has worked on projects and recordings around the world with world-class musicians and producers like the multiple Grammy-winning Javier Limón (Casa Limón), Jeremy Loucas (Esperanza Spalding, Dianne Reeves), Terri Lyne Carrington (Herbie Hancock Quartet), Harvie S (Kenny Barron Trio), Concha Buika, Mark Whitfield (Elianne Elias Group), among many others.
